Requirements

Active Physical Therapist license in Delaware or eligibility to practice in Delaware
Degree in physical therapy from an accredited program (professional credentialing expected)
Ability to work in a hospital/travel assignment setting and complete a 40-hour workweek
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
Demonstrated documentation proficiency and clinical reasoning in physical therapy
Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and adhere to facility policies and procedures

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care for physical therapy needs
Implement therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercise, gait training, and modalities as ordered
Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust the plan of care accordingly
Communicate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team; participate in discharge planning
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and functional goals
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and standards
