About The Position
The Boston Home is a specialized long-term care community serving adults with advanced neurological conditions. The Physical Therapist assesses and treats neurological, musculoskeletal, functional mobility, integumentary, and post-surgical disorders in adults with complex neurological conditions. The role calls for a compassionate approach to caring for clients with advanced progressive diseases who face physical mobility and functional limitations.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Doctor of Physical Therapy program since 2005, or an appropriate entry-level degree earned before 2005.
- Current Massachusetts licensure in Physical Therapy.
- At least 3 years of experience assessing and treating neurogenic mobility and musculoskeletal disorders.
- Ability to practice independently in all appropriate domains within the physical therapist scope of practice in a skilled nursing facility environment, without a physical therapist assistant for treatment.
- Excellent written and oral English skills.
- Comfort with computerized documentation, email communication, and electronic medical records.
- Ability to lift and move 50 pounds independently and 100 pounds with assistance.

- Previous experience with Casamba SmartNet and Sigmacare systems.
Responsibilities
