About The Position

Adventist HealthCare Home Health is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) servicing in our Silver Spring, Rockville or Southern Maryland Territory! We're seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited physical therapy program
  • Maryland Physical Therapy Licensure
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Valid driver’s license with agency insurance requirements

Nice To Haves

  • One to three years’ experience preferred
  • One year home care experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Communicates with team members, customers, managers, etc. to coordinate plan of care and provide optimal patient experience.
  • Administers physical therapy interventions and treatments according to agency’s accepted policies and procedures.
  • Apply and implement appropriate therapy knowledge and plans patient care with appropriate patient goals.
  • Completes documentation requirements in a proficient and timely manner.
  • Assumes responsibility for personal and professional development.
  • Administers and supervises physical therapy treatments to patients with a wide range of health problems under the direct orders of a physician/podiatrist.
  • Coordinates care patients with other skilled care providers to plan, implement and access treatment programs.
