Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current Texas Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
  • Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and overall quality of life.
  • Treat a variety of orthopedic, post-operative, musculoskeletal, and mobility-related conditions.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, wellness, and home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time.
  • Utilize the Raintree EMR platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management.
  • Work within a manageable caseload environment, typically targeting approximately 10-12 patient visits per day for full-time outpatient clinicians.
  • Contribute to a positive clinic culture focused on patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
  • Treat orthopedic, post-operative, musculoskeletal, and mobility-related conditions.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
  • Accurately document patient progress and communicate treatment updates with the clinical team.
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists and support staff to support strong patient outcomes.
