About The Position

A Berryville-based outpatient physical therapy office is hiring a Physical Therapist Director to manage clinical care and support overall clinic performance. This position is ideal for a licensed PT who is experienced in outpatient treatment and ready to take on a leadership role with both clinical and administrative responsibilities. The Physical Therapist Director will help patients restore movement, improve strength, manage pain, and return to daily activities while also supporting staff, compliance, and clinic operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred

Nice To Haves

• Prior leadership, clinic management, or supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the outpatient physical therapy clinic
• Evaluate patients and establish appropriate treatment goals
• Deliver physical therapy care based on diagnosis, progress, and patient needs
• Monitor patient outcomes and update care plans as needed
• Provide leadership and guidance to therapists and support staff
• Ensure clinical documentation meets professional and regulatory standards
• Support team training, workflow improvements, and quality initiatives
• Build professional relationships with referral sources and healthcare partners
