About The Position
The Physical Therapist Director plays a central role in how care is delivered. Patients rely on clear evaluations, thoughtful treatment plans, and consistent progress monitoring. Staff rely on steady guidance, organized communication, and a leader who understands the work from the clinical side. This position brings both pieces together: patient care and clinic leadership.
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Virginia or eligible for Virginia licensure
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Strong documentation, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to balance direct care with operational leadership
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead patient care services in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Conduct evaluations and establish measurable treatment goals
- Treat patients with injuries, pain, post-operative needs, and mobility limitations
- Support clinical staff with care planning and case questions
- Review progress notes, plans of care, and discharge summaries
- Help manage daily clinic operations and patient flow
- Promote compliance with professional and regulatory standards
