About The Position

This full-time Physical Therapist Director role offers the opportunity to lead an outpatient physical therapy office while remaining involved in direct patient care. The position requires strong clinical judgment, effective team leadership, and the ability to support smooth day-to-day clinic operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior leadership, clinic management, or supervisory experience preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments
• Direct clinical services within the outpatient therapy setting
• Provide guidance to clinical staff on treatment planning and patient care
• Review care plans, progress notes, and discharge documentation
• Support patient scheduling, workflow management, and clinic productivity
• Maintain compliance with licensing, documentation, and payer standards
• Communicate professionally with providers, patients, and referral partners
• Contribute to a well-organized and results-focused clinical environment
