About The Position
We are hiring a Physical Therapist Director for an outpatient physical therapy office in Middletown, VA. This role is responsible for leading clinical services, supporting therapy staff, and ensuring patients receive effective and well-coordinated care. The Physical Therapist Director will manage both treatment responsibilities and clinic leadership duties, making this a strong fit for a PT who is ready to guide patient outcomes, staff performance, and operational consistency.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Nice To Haves
- Prior leadership, clinic management, or supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee outpatient physical therapy services and care delivery
- Conduct patient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
- Treat patients with orthopedic, post-operative, neurological, and mobility-related needs
- Supervise clinical staff and provide ongoing professional guidance
- Monitor documentation accuracy, patient progress, and discharge planning
- Help manage clinic priorities, scheduling flow, and daily operations
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and payer requirements
- Support quality improvement efforts and patient satisfaction goals
