About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our outpatient orthopedic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in outpatient orthopedics and a passion for providing excellent patient care. This position presents a temp-to-perm opportunity and includes support from generative AI documentation technology, allowing clinicians to focus more on patient care rather than paperwork.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a PTA
- Outpatient orthopedic experience
- Experience with a variety of cases including general orthopedics, post-operative cases, balance deficits, general deconditioning, and neurological conditions
- Patient population typically ranges from ages 15 to 90
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience is strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Handle a patient load of 10-12 patients per day during an 8-hour shift
- Treat a variety of cases including general orthopedics, post-operative cases, balance deficits, general deconditioning, and neurological conditions
- Conduct 60-minute evaluations
- Perform 30-minute follow-up treatments
