Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Facility Overview Located in a military community near Fort Gordon Army Base, this clinic serves as a residential area for many families and retired military personnel. The facility has experienced notable growth, welcoming new families and offering care for a diverse range of diagnoses in an outpatient setting. Position Summary We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in an outpatient setting and will treat various patient demographics, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
Requirements
- Outpatient experience is required.
- 1+ year of experience is preferred; new graduates with some orthopedic experience will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans for various orthopedic and neurological conditions.
- Provide evaluations and treatments for conditions such as Achilles tendonitis, ACL tears, back pain, fractures, and post-operative care.
- Conduct group and concurrent therapy sessions, as well as gross motor assessments.
- Collaborate with physical therapists and support staff to ensure effective patient care.
