About The Position

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking licensed Physical Therapist Assistants to provide hands-on care to older adults in Ashburn, Virginia, and surrounding communities through its Geriatric House Calls™ model. PTAs work closely with a supervising Physical Therapist to carry out individualized treatment plans, guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities, and support improvements in strength, mobility, confidence, and independence. Care is delivered in patients’ homes and senior living communities, with meaningful one-on-one patient time.

The role is part of an interdisciplinary team that includes Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Fitness Specialists. FOX provides mentorship from the supervising PT and opportunities to grow clinical skills, caseload, and career. Full-time, part-time, and PRN/FOX Flex pathways are offered. Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state or states of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting, performing CPR, assisting with patient transfers and bed mobility, and extensive walking.
• Ability to drive to patient homes and senior living communities.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist, adjusting activities based on patient response and progress.
• Instruct, motivate, and safeguard patients during therapeutic exercises and functional activities, while observing and tracking progress.
• Document visits accurately and on time in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with its clinical documentation standards.
• Stay connected with patients, powers of attorney, and community referral sources, and help coordinate coverage when needed.
• Provide in-home and community-based care, including visits to senior living communities.
