PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Acute Care
About The Position
PT Solutions is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to provide acute-care rehabilitation services in partnership with Ascension St. Vincent Anderson in Anderson, Indiana. Working alongside a Physical Therapist, the assistant administers patient treatments and educates patients, family members, and caregivers on supporting daily routines. The role collaborates with a broader care team to maximize patient outcomes through evidence-based care. The hospital/clinic is located at 2015 Jackson St, 2nd Floor, Anderson, IN 46016. PRN coverage requires two weekend day shifts per month, one major holiday, and one minor holiday. The posted pay range is $36.00–$39.00 per hour, with compensation considering factors such as background, experience, and work location.
Requirements
- Graduate of an APTA- or CAPTE-approved physical therapist assistant program.
- State licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Administer and assist with a wide range of physical therapy treatments using a variety of methods.
- Establish strong relationships with patients to help them exceed their functional goals.
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, fellow clinicians, and other team members.
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the community.
- Work alongside a Physical Therapist in administering patient treatments.
- Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on how to best assist with daily routines.
- Collaborate with the broader team to maximize patient outcomes using evidence-based care.
