About The Position

Delta View Post-Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Requirements

  • Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative rehabilitation team.

  • Reliable and professional with a commitment to quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Assist patients in achieving their individualized rehabilitation goals.
  • Help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
  • Promote patient safety during therapeutic activities, transfers, and mobility training.
  • Collaborate with PTs, nursing staff, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies.
  • Accurately document treatments, progress, and patient responses in accordance with applicable regulations and facility standards.
  • Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team.
