About The Position
Delta View Post-Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Requirements
- Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative rehabilitation team.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
- Reliable and professional with a commitment to quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients in achieving their individualized rehabilitation goals.
- Help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
- Promote patient safety during therapeutic activities, transfers, and mobility training.
- Collaborate with PTs, nursing staff, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies.
- Accurately document treatments, progress, and patient responses in accordance with applicable regulations and facility standards.
- Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team.
