About The Position

AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque seeks a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to work day shifts. The role administers physical therapy treatment interventions under the guidance of a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a Physician. The Physical Therapist Assistant also participates with a Physical Therapist in developing treatment programs for therapy patients. AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque is a Long-Term Acute Care hospital specializing in complex medical needs. Its multidisciplinary approach includes clinical and therapeutic interventions and family involvement, with a high staff-to-patient ratio intended to support individualized attention. Requirements

Associate degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant school.
Current New Mexico State PTA license.
Current BLS certification.
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

Administer physical therapy treatment interventions guided by a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a Physician.
Participate with a Physical Therapist in developing treatment programs for therapy patients.
