PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN)
About The Position
Life Enriching Communities is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide personalized rehabilitation services to residents at Twin Towers in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is an in-house role, not a contracted service, and is scheduled on an as-needed PRN basis. The assistant works closely with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team to support residents’ recovery and independence through customized rehabilitation plans. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Ohio.
- Outpatient experience required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer manual exercises, massage, and/or traction to relieve pain, improve strength, and reduce the risk of deformity.
- Instruct, motivate, and assist residents with functional mobility and activity improvement.
- Observe, document, and report resident progress and treatment responses to the Physical Therapist.
- Fit and train residents in the use and care of orthopedic devices such as braces, prostheses, walkers, and wheelchairs.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and adjust treatment programs.
- Support clerical functions such as inventory, supply orders, and documentation.
