About The Position
Pivot Rehabilitation is a therapy delivery and multi-faceted solution management company focused on improving health, advancing care, and lowering costs for aging populations. The Physical Therapist Assistant provides therapy services to patients as directed by a physical therapist and contributes to patient care planning, documentation, communication, and facility training. The position is PRN and is listed for locations in the Dallas–Fort Worth and surrounding Texas areas.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Hold a current license in the state of practice.
- Have good communication skills and the ability to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff.
- Be capable of performing the job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients as directed by the physical therapist.
- Record treatments in the medical record and document daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedures and state Physical Therapy rules.
- Participate in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
- Communicate patient progress, problems, and plans to the supervising therapist, rehabilitation director, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Participate in facility in-service training programs.
