About The Position
Premier Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its therapy team in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. The position offers a flexible schedule with a four-day work week, onsite mentorship, and a bonus opportunity. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered; conditions apply. The PTA provides skilled treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist and assists patients with strength, mobility, balance, gait, and functional activities. The role includes monitoring patient progress, communicating with the supervising therapist, educating patients and their families or caregivers, completing required documentation, and collaborating with the care team. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current PTA license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
Nice To Haves
- SNF/long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with strength, mobility, balance, gait, and functional activities.
