About The Position
PruittHealth is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to help patients improve mobility, restore function, and achieve greater independence. The role delivers physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist and supports patient rehabilitation goals through individualized interventions. It is located at 310 Highway 1 Bypass, Louisville, Georgia, and is scheduled PRN. Compensation is up to $100,000 annually, depending on experience, schedule, and location.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

- Rehabilitation or post-acute care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
- Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
