About The Position
Independence Rehab is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join its therapy team. The position requires 16–20 hours per week and splits time among Emerald Valley and Waterford Grand in Eugene, Oregon, and Spring Valley in Springfield. The role provides individualized treatment in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting, working alongside Physical Therapists and the interdisciplinary care team to help patients regain mobility, improve functional independence, and achieve rehabilitation goals. The organization emphasizes flexible scheduling, clinical autonomy, supportive leadership, collaboration, and quality patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing, or eligibility for licensure in the state.
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Collaborative attitude, sound clinical judgment, and a genuine passion for helping others.
Nice To Haves
- SNF or ALF experience; experience is not required.
Responsibilities
