Munger Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Fort Gratiot. Requirements
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Michigan PTA license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient orthopedic experience
- Experience working with post-surgical and sports-related injuries
- Passion for providing individualized patient care
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercise instruction and hands-on treatment techniques
- Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on recovery, injury prevention, and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Help create an encouraging and positive rehabilitation experience for every patient
