Phyisical Therapist Assistant (PTA) -PART-TIME PLUS
About The Position
Your Impact Premier Therapy is seeking a part-time plus Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to help patients progress safely and steadily toward greater mobility and independence. The PTA delivers services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, follows established plans of care, and adapts sessions to patient tolerance and goals. A typical shift includes reviewing the day's schedule and notes, assisting patients with their sessions in rooms or the gym, updating documentation between visits, checking in with the supervising PT about progress, adjusting the daily workflow as needs change, and confirming patient next steps while completing notes for continuity of care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
- Current PTA license or eligibility per state requirements.
- Strong documentation, teamwork, and patient-centered communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic exercise and functional training.
- Follow established plans of care and adapt sessions to patient tolerance and goals.
- Document treatments and patient responses.
- Communicate patient progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist and care team.
- Support a safe, respectful environment for each patient.
- Review the day's schedule and notes and assist patients through their sessions.
- Confirm patient next steps and complete notes to support continuity of care.
