Phyisical Therapist Assistant (PTA) -PART-TIME PLUS
About The Position
Premier Therapy is seeking a part-time plus Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to help patients progress safely and steadily toward greater mobility and independence. The PTA delivers services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, follows established plans of care, and adapts sessions to patient tolerance and goals. The role includes providing therapeutic exercise and functional training, documenting treatments and patient response, communicating progress or concerns to the supervising PT and care team, and supporting a safe, respectful environment for each patient. A typical shift involves reviewing the day's schedule and notes, assisting patients with sessions, updating documentation between visits, checking in with the supervising PT, adjusting the day's flow as needs change, and confirming patient next steps while completing notes for continuity of care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
- Current PTA license or eligibility per state requirements.
- Strong documentation, teamwork, and patient-centered communication skills.
