About The Position
We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team in Bryan, Ohio on a PRN basis. This role offers a flexible therapy opportunity within a skilled nursing facility setting.
Requirements
- Current Ohio PTA license
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and clinical skills
Nice To Haves
- SNF/geriatric experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with mobility, strength, balance, transfers, and functional activities
- Follow individualized treatment plans
- Document patient care and progress
- Work closely with PT, nursing, and the interdisciplinary team
- Help residents reach their highest level of independence
