About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for its new Aiken rehabilitation hospital. The role provides direct patient care and involves planning and implementing individualized treatment programs under the direction of a Physical Therapist, following the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The assistant will also contribute to further development of the services and must be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities. The position serves chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Prior inpatient hospital experience is welcome, as is a commitment and desire to learn.
Requirements
- Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Maintain current BLS certification.

- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
- Participate in the further development of services.
- Remain flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
