Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - PRN Days | Beaumont Rehab
About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for its Beaumont Rehab team, with a flexible schedule. The role provides care to a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who may require extended hospital care. Prior inpatient hospital experience is preferred, though candidates with a desire and commitment to learn are also encouraged to apply. The position requires working at least two weekends per month. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct patient care and plans and implements individualized treatment programs according to Physical Therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to the further development of services and requires flexibility to meet the system’s needs across different facilities.
Requirements
- Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Hold a current BLS certification.
- Work a minimum of two weekends per month.
- Have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
