About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to provide care to its diverse patient population. The role is described as having a flexible schedule. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care, and the ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant is primarily responsible for direct patient care and for planning and implementing individual treatment programs according to the principles and practices of physical therapy in the PAM Health System. The position also contributes to further development of services and requires flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities.
Requirements
- Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to physical therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
- Contribute to the further development of services.
- Be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
