About The Position

PruittHealth is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to help patients improve mobility, restore function, and achieve greater independence. The role is based at 805 Dilworth St, St. Marys, Georgia, and is full-time. Compensation is up to $100,000 annually, based on experience, schedule, and location. The position includes an advertised stay-and-earn sign-on bonus of up to $8,000. The PTA provides physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist, supports individualized rehabilitation goals, documents care, and works with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams. Requirements

Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
Complete accurate and timely documentation.
Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
