About The Position
PruittHealth is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to help patients improve mobility, restore function, and achieve greater independence in a post-acute care and skilled nursing rehabilitation setting. The PTA delivers treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist and works with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams to support individualized rehabilitation goals. The position is based at 2301 Bluff Oak Way, Tallahassee, Florida, and is offered full-time, part-time, or PRN. Compensation is up to $100,000 annually, depending on experience, schedule, and location. A stay-and-earn sign-on bonus of up to $16,000 is available.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

- Rehabilitation or post-acute care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
- Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
