About The Position

PruittHealth is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to help patients improve mobility, restore function, and achieve greater independence. The role is based at a skilled nursing and post-acute care location in Forsyth, Georgia, and provides physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist. The position is full-time and offers compensation of up to $100,000 annually, depending on experience, schedule, and location, as well as a stay-and-earn sign-on bonus of up to $10,000. The PTA supports individualized rehabilitation goals, monitors and documents patient progress, educates patients and families, and collaborates with interdisciplinary care teams. Requirements

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
Complete accurate and timely documentation.
Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
