About The Position
Hess Spine & Orthopedics is seeking an experienced and motivated Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to join its growing medical practice, which has office locations throughout North, Central, and South New Jersey. The physician will support an expanding patient population through clinical work involving interventional pain management procedures and electrodiagnostic testing (EMG/NCS). The practice offers full-time, part-time, and per diem employment opportunities.
Requirements
- MD or DO with completed residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Active New Jersey medical license or eligibility for New Jersey licensure.
- Demonstrated experience performing EMG/NCS studies.
- Experience performing interventional pain management injections.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills.
Nice To Haves
- Board-certified or board-eligible in PM&R preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform pain management injections, including appropriate spine and musculoskeletal procedures within the physician’s training and scope of practice.
- Perform electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS).
- Evaluate and treat patients with spinal, musculoskeletal, neurological, and nerve-related conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with applicable clinical and regulatory standards.
