About The Position

Hess Spine & Orthopedics is seeking an experienced and motivated Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to join its growing medical practice, which has office locations throughout North, Central, and South New Jersey. The physician will support an expanding patient population through clinical experience in interventional pain management procedures and electrodiagnostic testing (EMG/NCS).

The role includes performing appropriate spine and musculoskeletal pain-management injections within the physician’s training and scope of practice, conducting EMG and NCS testing, evaluating and treating patients with spinal, musculoskeletal, neurological, and nerve-related conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, coordinating patient care, and maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with applicable clinical and regulatory standards.

Compensation is $300,000–$360,000 per year, based on experience and employment arrangement.

Requirements

• MD or DO with completed residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Active New Jersey medical license or eligibility for New Jersey licensure.
• Demonstrated experience performing EMG/NCS studies.
• Experience performing interventional pain-management injections.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills.

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Perform pain-management injections, including appropriate spine and musculoskeletal procedures within the physician’s training and scope of practice.
• Perform electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS).
• Evaluate and treat patients with spinal, musculoskeletal, neurological, and nerve-related conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with applicable clinical and regulatory standards.
