About The Position

An Internal Medical Group has an opportunity for Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or a Physician Assistant (PA) to work in Physical Medicine and Rehab (PM&R) facilities in the New Haven County area. The APP will be a specialist who will examine the patient holistically to identify what may be inhibiting a patient from reaching their maximal potential. They will have broad medical expertise to treat disabling conditions such as spasticity, fatigue, weakness, gait abnormalities, contractures and pain. The APP will determine and lead a treatment/prevention plan and collaborate with a team of medical professionals, which may include physical therapists, occupational therapists, and physician extenders to optimize patient care.
