About The Position

We are seeking a Per Diem Physiatrist (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician) to provide comprehensive care to patients in the Roxborough, Pennsylvania area. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a flexible schedule, supplemental clinical work, or the ability to maintain a per diem practice alongside other professional commitments. The physician will evaluate and manage patients with a variety of physical medicine and rehabilitation needs, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans and optimize functional outcomes.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency.
Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure.
DEA registration.
Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical medicine consultations.
Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional conditions.
Develop individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans.
Coordinate care with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
Provide appropriate medication management and procedural interventions within scope of practice.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and communication with referring providers.
