About The Position

The Photographer captures meaningful ministry moments and fun, impactful camp experiences so campers can relive them and the MarCom team can use the material in future advertising. The role involves capturing, editing, and publishing photos from all areas of camp for daily camp galleries and promotional purposes. The Photographer follows supervisors’ directions and safety procedures, contributes to a positive, cooperative, Christ-centered team environment, and represents Hume Christian Camps’ values and mission through conduct, attitude, and service.

Requirements

• Be able to use Adobe and shoot on DSLR cameras, or be willing to learn.
• Present examples of past work.
• Be at least 18 years old at the start of employment to live in staff housing, or be a high school graduate who is a dependent resident of Hume in staff housing.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Be willing to perform physical tasks and work indoors or outdoors as needed.
• Be dependable, punctual, and able to work under supervision.
• Agree with and support Hume Christian Camps’ Statement of Faith.
• Have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel through word and deed.
• Be able to stand, walk, run, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Be able to live and work in extreme weather conditions, at high altitude, and in small living quarters.

• Capture, edit, and publish photos of all areas of camp for daily camp galleries and promotional purposes.
• Follow all safety procedures and directions provided by supervisors.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude and contribute to a Christ-centered team environment.
• Represent Hume Christian Camps’ values and mission through conduct, attitude, and service.
