About The Position
Saratoga Medical is hiring a Phlebotomist in Austin, Texas. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. The role involves drawing blood from inpatient patients in Mental Health Units and providing laboratory support services as assigned. The successful candidate will work professionally with patients experiencing mental illness, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), chemical dependency, and other social or physical disorders. Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws for inpatient patients in the Mental Health Units.
- Provide laboratory support services as assigned.
- Work professionally with patients experiencing mental illness, IDD, chemical dependency, and other social or physical disorders.
- Follow applicable Texas Lab Technician rules and all HHSC and facility policies.
- Complete required facility training and clearance procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
