About The Position

Provide phlebotomy services for adolescent and adult patients for laboratory testing. Collect blood primarily by venipuncture and fingerstick. Blood may also be collected from infants by heel stick or from scalp veins using a butterfly needle.

Requirements

• Reliable and punctual.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety measures.
• Intermediate computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program.

Nice To Haves

• National Phlebotomy certification or equivalent is preferred.
