Phlebotomist - Part-time - San Antonio, Texas
About The Position
Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc., part of Sonic Healthcare USA, is hiring a part-time Phlebotomist in San Antonio, Texas. The role is on the first shift and is scheduled for 20 hours per week. The Phlebotomist provides patient care and customer-focused service, performs venipuncture on patients of all ages, collects and prepares non-blood specimens, and ensures proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering. The role also supports safety, compliance, and quality control. Employees will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and must maintain strict confidentiality, follow privacy and security standards, and access PHI only when required to perform their duties. This position is not benefits eligible.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous phlebotomy training or experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills.
Nice To Haves
- 2 or more years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.
- Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.
