About The Position

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc., a Sonic Healthcare USA company, is hiring a full-time Phlebotomist in Tyler, Texas. The role provides patient care and customer-focused service, performs venipuncture on patients of all ages, collects and prepares non-blood specimens, and ensures specimens are properly processed and labeled and tests are correctly ordered. The position also supports safety, compliance, and quality control.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional Saturdays. The position is benefit eligible and scheduled for 40 hours per week. The role has routine access to protected health information (PHI); employees must maintain confidentiality and follow applicable privacy and security standards, accessing PHI only as required for their duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.
