About The Position

The Phlebotomist role is at Providence St. Peter Hospital, a short-term acute care facility with 325 staffed beds. The position uses EPIC for charting. The schedule is five 8-hour shifts on a variable shift; flexibility is required, as the employee may occasionally be asked to work an alternate shift to cover staffing changes. Every other weekend is required. On-call work is not required. The position is described as a travel contract, and local travelers whose permanent residence is within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible. The start date is ASAP.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience.
• BLS certification.
• Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist credential (WA MSP Phleb) must be in hand at submission; pending licensure is not accepted.
• Must be flexible to work alternate shifts on occasion.
• Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for the travel contract.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included in the submission.
