About The Position
Adena Health is hiring a part-time, days Phlebotomist for the Adena Main Laboratory in Chillicothe. The position is 50% (20 hours per week) and includes rotating weekends. Under the direct supervision of the Phlebotomy Team Lead, the phlebotomist performs venipuncture and related procedures in accordance with hospital and department philosophy, policies, and procedures. The role serves as a departmental ambassador and is responsible for providing excellent customer service. This position does not have access to funds. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (PBT/CPT), as outlined in the AHS Laboratory SOP for Certification Pathway and Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and/or Electrocardiogram (EKG) qualifications may be needed depending on the position; hospital/laboratory phlebotomists are not required to have CPR/EKG.
