About The Position

Adena Health is hiring a part-time, night-shift Phlebotomist for its Adena Main Laboratory in Chillicothe. The role is 50% time, or 20 hours per week, and includes rotating weekends. Under the direct supervision of the Phlebotomy Team Lead, the Phlebotomist performs venipuncture and related procedures in accordance with hospital and department philosophy, policies, and procedures. The position serves as a departmental ambassador and provides excellent customer service. The position does not have access to funds. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (PBT/CPT), as outlined in the AHS Laboratory SOP titled Certification Pathway and Certification.

Nice To Haves

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and/or Electrocardiogram (EKG), as needed depending on the position. Hospital/laboratory phlebotomists are not required to have CPR/EKG.
