About The Position

The Phlebotomist performs venipuncture and related procedures under the philosophy, policies, and procedures established by the hospital and department. Under the direct supervision of the Phlebotomy Team Lead, the phlebotomist also serves as a departmental ambassador and provides excellent customer service. This position does not have access to funds.

This is a part-time, 50% position working 20 hours per week on days at Adena Main Laboratory in Chillicothe. Rotating weekends are required. Salary offers are based on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (PBT/CPT), as outlined in the AHS Laboratory SOP on Certification Pathway and Certification.
