About The Position

Performs routine duties involved in drawing and collecting blood specimens from identified patients. Records necessary information according to established methods, procedures, and hospital rules and regulations. Also receives and processes specimens and maintains laboratory supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Non-degree program in medical assistance or a related program preferred.
• One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Certified Phlebotomist Tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draw and collect blood specimens from identified patients.
• Record necessary information following established methods and procedures and hospital rules and regulations.
• Receive and process specimens.
• Maintain laboratory supplies.
