About The Position

HSHS is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform basic phlebotomy procedures and collect specimens appropriately for laboratory testing. The position requires maintaining thorough knowledge of test sample priorities and requirements, performing clerical duties that support high-quality and efficient daily laboratory operations, and assisting with clinical laboratory functions as needed. This full-time position is in the Laboratory at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, Illinois. The schedule is 36 hours per week on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Pay is $17.50–$24.50, with the actual rate based on relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and education.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED is required.

Nice To Haves

One year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
Phlebotomy certificate or equivalent is preferred.
