About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a medical clinic in Raymore, Missouri, and provide exceptional customer service while performing skilled specimen collections. The Phlebotomist will serve as a face of the company and may have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:15 AM to 4:15 PM, and Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Additional days and hours may be required. Travel to additional sites may also be needed.

The role may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency is required.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record, if applicable.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Nice To Haves

• One year or more of experience as a phlebotomist.
• Current or prior Labcorp experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other purposes.
• Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
