About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Mobile Phlebotomist to draw patient samples, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent service at assigned facilities. The role serves as a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable representative of PHS laboratory services and requires experience in venipuncture, strong communication skills, and a positive, can-do attitude. The schedule is 6am–2pm Saturday and Sunday.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of mobile phlebotomy experience; experience in the Nursing Home/LTACH market is preferred.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and a thorough understanding of tube and draw requirements for various tests.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to resolve problems independently.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods while performing specimen collection.
• Comfort driving for extended stretches to various patient locations.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 20 pounds.
• Manual dexterity for handling small instruments and performing precise blood draws.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under high-stress situations.
• Flexibility to adapt to scheduling changes and varying patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Draw patient samples along assigned routes and schedules, and provide coverage for sample collection duties when needed.
• Maintain regular contact with assigned facilities and staff to ensure service satisfaction.
• Communicate current or potential customer issues in the assigned territory and offer suggestions for resolution.
• Address service concerns and respond promptly to requests from staff and facilities.
• Maintain detailed records of time worked and mileage.
• Assist with correction and missing-information requests from Insurance and Billing teams.
• Ensure proper documentation for sample collection and reporting.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the manager.
