About The Position

The Mobile Phlebotomist performs in-home blood draws on an as-needed, independent-contractor basis. The role offers flexible scheduling: the phlebotomist sets and updates their availability, receives offers for patient appointments in their area, and chooses whether to accept each offer. Most patient demand is on weekday mornings and early afternoons. There are no required minimum or maximum hours, no guaranteed number of draws, and no set shifts. The position is part-time and intended to provide supplemental income. Pay is $50 per completed draw, plus mileage compensation when applicable.

Requirements

• Active phlebotomy certification.
• At least six months of current, relevant work experience, in addition to instructional hours completed while obtaining certification.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Fluency in English.
• A smartphone with internet access.

Responsibilities

• Set and upload available time slots to the calendar.
• Update availability as needed without maintaining a set schedule.
• Review notifications and details for in-home blood draw offers matched to the phlebotomist's area and availability.
• Accept or decline appointment offers.
• Complete accepted in-home blood draws.
