About The Position

Methodist Hospital is hiring a Non-Certified Pharmacy Technician to join its team. Under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician assists with the timely and accurate dispensing of non-sterile hazardous and non-hazardous medications to patients in accordance with state and federal guidelines. The schedule involves rotating day and evening shifts, including every other weekend.

Requirements

• Must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Basic computer skills, including use of Epic and Microsoft Office products such as email, internet, Word, and Excel.
• Math aptitude, including the ability to compute and convert drug concentrations and doses.
• Ability to type.
• Attention to detail.
• Customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Time and task management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and problem solve.

Nice To Haves

• Prior pharmacy experience preferred.
