About The Position
Pharmacy Technician working in an inpatient pharmacy in an acute care setting. This is a 13-week assignment on third shift, from 2000 to 0630, Tuesday through Friday, with 10-hour shifts and 40 guaranteed hours per week. Weekend work is minimal and needed only as necessary. On-call is not required. The dress code is charcoal gray or pewter scrubs.
Requirements
- Experience with Epic and Pyxis systems.
- Proficiency in sterile compounding.
- Experience in an acute care setting.
- Compounding experience.
- BLS certification.
- State licensure.
Nice To Haves
- PTCB certification is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform sterile compounding.
- Dispense medications using a medication dispensing system.
