About The Position

Following established policies and procedures and under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician Youth Apprentice prepares medications and performs functions essential to the operations of the pharmacy department. The role operates within the guidelines of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code Pharmacy Examining Board Pharmacy Practice Sections. The position is on-site at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, and offers flexibility with students' school schedules.

Requirements

• Be actively enrolled in high school as a junior or senior.
• Apply for Wisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the hire date and obtain registration within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Perform functions essential to the operations of the pharmacy department.
